Collection: Sahondra Ormés

Sahondra Ormés was born in 1968 in Madagascar. Through her rich memories of travels and adventures shared with her officer father, she developed her curiosity and sensitivity: photography became her means of expression par excellence. A time, correspondent for a local newspaper, she perfected her art with passion and in the service of information. In 2016, she began to participate in collective and individual exhibition projects. His favorite theme is the beauty of the ordinary (materials, places, people, situations). Sahondra Ormés thus shares a unique moment, an emotion, a feeling, the beauty of a landscape, a look, poetry, authenticity. The image captured by the artist does not lie, it reveals what she calls "a supplement of soul on the little nothings of everyday life".
