Jean Michel Fauvet was born on November 10, 1944 in La Ferté Sous Jouarre - Seine et Marne

He discovered painting at the age of 14. He took courses in several drawing academies, then he entered the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris.

His Art evolves towards the abstract, his colors become pure and contrasting.

Then, little by little, his Art becomes lyrical (thanks to the music) and brings out the movement and his palette is composed from the three primary colors from 1988 to 2005. He leads several workshops.

He sometimes creates compositions (creations-musicos-pictorials) only on musical rhythms, mainly Jazz in public.

His current approach would be to incorporate a form of abstraction within a figurative construction, while developing movement.
